Dot Net Error -- Program Fails to Start

The program doesn’t seems to work on my system. All I get is this huge error that always comes up. I will post it here. Would be nice to see the program working, and idea’s.

Andrew.

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Hi @gohanau,
Is this error happening as soon as you try to start the program, without ever interacting with any parts of it or is it after interacting with it in some way?

Is this the only system you’ve tried to run it on, so far?

We have a new release coming soon that touches some of these components, so it may address your issue. I will ping this thread again once it is released.

Hi Tony,

It was on two machines that I tried with the latest version of windows 10 on it. I will try the new update of the program and see how it goes. The program seemed to “Lag” and just failed. Then up came the error, in the end I had to uninstall the program.

Thanks

Andrew.

Also would you make it easier for people to find the download of the new updates, some of us are not use to this very confusing forum, maybe a link at the top for common sense sake, click here for the latest version… and dam, there it is. I spent 15 minutes trying to find it and still cant. I am about to give up on this program.

Andrew.

Hi @gohanau,
Thanks for the feedback. I have set the link higher in the Windows Desktop post and re-pinned it. I am looking into a way to create a custom widget at the top of the forum, and I will also make sure that the post is referenced in every new Release Note we post, so you can always get to it from there.

We will eventually have this posted on our main site, once we are out of beta, so it will be much easier to find.

Let us know how the new install goes.
